Spent three hours on the piano today!! I've just finished my latest song and played it for a friend who had tears in his eyes (how awesome is that!!!). Not sure if he was crying because it was so bad or because he liked it - ha ha. The song is about feeling like you have to wait until you're completely healed before you can reach out to someone else but how that's not the case. One of my favorite lines from the song (inspired by the Holy Spirit) 'healing comes in broken things, with cracks inside we'll still let the light in'. We don't have to be fixed to help people we just have to be willing. It reminded me of when Jesus heard the news about John the Baptist (His cousin) being beheaded and He tried to be somewhere by Himself but crowds of people needed Him for their healing. He didn't hesitate in reaching out even though I'm sure He was sad about the death of John. We can be a bridge to lead others to the Father heart of God because we have the strength of the Holy Spirit. It's not about our lack, it's about His abundance!
